In remembrance of the 9-11-2001 attacks, I humbly suggest that we need to move beyond thinking of ourselves in terms of our nationality, our religion, or our race. We need to start thinking of ourselves as human beings. Only then will peace truly be possible. Easier to say than to do, but let’s use today as an opportunity to move towards that goal.
Well said and I agree totally.
Glad you found it meaningful.

ReBlogged from Cristao408. I think this is a wonderful view of one way our global society can unite in our pain and progress forward, together.

While many Americans were deeply touched by the days events 12 years ago, so were many people of other nations. Not only Americans worked and lived in NYC, DC or were on the planes. Well said. Only through acknowledging events that alter the world can we come together as a world to help each other through difficult times.
You propose a necessary step for HumanKIND. May your humble suggestion become more true everyday. It will every time even one person’s heart opens to embrace, appreciate, and celebrate more of humanity than it did the day before.
