I’m a morning person. I love how peaceful the day is when it is still young. But “peaceful” does not mean quiet! Here’s an audio postcard from a typical morning.

That was really interesting….kind of sounded like some of the kids in the mall I work at that make noise for the heck of it. hehehehe
Interesting.
Haha, I was listening and I was surprised when it was birds(They are birds… right?) and not car sounds you were talking about. I guess Thailand really is a different place haha. But it was cute listening to them talk, the other answering back and everything. Just probably not something I would want to listen to every morning. I’d probably imagine myself living in a forest and probably panic if that was what I woke to one morning haha.
So you have no need for an alarm clock to wake you up in the morning!
Wow…is that a mating call? Or really birds, or perhaps, monkeys?LOL
What a glorious sound to awaken to…beats the beeping of the alarm clock, when one needs to use it.
What type of birds were they? I was sort of expecting the sounds of tuk tuks.
@ElusiveWords – Not sure. Haven’t seen them. They hide in the trees.
@jackietebow – That’s funny. Was it the cry of monkeys or teenage mall rats?
@xMistyStarzLitex – It’s really in the background so I don’t notice it. The sound of the birds is overwhelmed by other noises as the day progresses.
@choyshinglin – If I get to bed at a reasonable hour, I wake up by six or seven without an alarm clock. Much better than when I had to use an alarm clock and get up early for work – a sure sign of being under-rested.
@curry69curry – Really birds and probably a mating call. Or maybe they are just gossipping.
Chris, through this post, you took me home. They are the sounds of ‘ koyels’ I am sure you have some mango and peepul trees around your condo. Thank you. That was soooo beautiful.
Sounds very exotic. :o) I heard this kid jumping on his skateboard as he goes to school in the morning on our sidewalk outside. I hate the sound when the wheels go over each the concrete slab joints. Ugh. I’ll trade with you!
