Apologies for my brief absence from Xanga. Tawn and I are on a four-day holiday up in Chiang Mai and I did not bring my computer. Am eating a great deal of tasty Northern Thai food, about which I will write upon my return.

Have a great time together there, Chris! Thank you for the link again. I took a train to Ayutthaya. It was very convenient. Looking forward to your upcoming photos! =) Cheers!
Cool. My next visit to Thailand will include a trip to Chiang Mai, because I haven’t been to that part of the country and want to go. Reading your posts are the next best thing.
@Ricardo98 – I would suggest that in addition to Chiang Mai, you add Chiang Rai. It is a smaller city and I find it more charming than Chiang Mai.@I_love_Burma – Oh, I’m glad you were able to try the train!
Best wishes to you and Tawn on your trip. Maybe share your experience of travelling without a computer with us 🙂 I can’t remember the last time I actually went away for any duration and not bring the laptop. Does it help you enjoy the surroundings more? Or are you constantly wondering if you’ve got email? Looking forward to hearing of your adventures on your return
Photos too? hehe. Have fun!
You could have hired a sherpa to carry your laptop. hahahaha…. I enjoyed Chiang Mai a lot. When you wrote that you were going there, it brought back a lot of good memories.
Enjoy your trip and relax.
