Fancy a home to stay in during your trip to Paris this summer? Somewhere comfortable, well-located, fully furnished, with a nice view, and reasonably priced?
Our friend Ryeroam, who is moving into a new home in the Paris suburbs with his partner this week, informs me that their fully-furnished in-town apartment will be available through October, when the sale of that apartment will close. In the meantime, they would be happy to rent it to anyone who is visiting Paris and wants a good place to stay.
The 65-square meter (650 square feet) apartment is located in the 15th Arrondisement near the Eiffel Tour. There is a nice view from the bedroom and the living room and it is conveniently located for tourists who want to take advantage of Paris’ excellent transportation system.
They are asking for a rental rate of 500 Euros a week, which is already quite reasonable, and they are open to negotiation. Tawn and I would love to take advantage of this offer, if we weren’t already fully booked with trips over the summer and trying to save money for our remodel.

Yeah, it is a really good deal. I wish that Tawn and I had the time and resources to go there. September in Paris for Tawn’s birthday would be great, but we already have two trips to SF for weddings at both the beginning of September and October. Shucks.

beautiful apartment! i wish i were still going to paris now… 😦 and you’re very right that calling back instead of texting startles the other person. i’ve heard stories where the guy/girl won’t pick up the phone, even though he/she had sent a text from it less than a minute ago!and a very happy fourth to you too. 🙂
Wow, that’s a fantastic looking apartment! Given that, and the location and view, I don’t think it’ll take your friends long to find someone who’ll want it. I just wish it could be me, but I won’t be in Paris during that time period. Regarding your comment: I would say that the only good thing about malls are the air conditioning, especially if it’s absolutely broiling outside. But even then, I’d rather find a nice little cafe and just relax there — besides, it probably has better food and company! =)Have a great day!
